What are the Contraindications?

When shoud EXOmassage™ not be applied?

Firstly, the EXOmassage™ must not be used during pregnancy. Nor with electronic or metallic implants (e.g. insulin pump, cardiac pacemaker, defibrillator, hormone spiral, hip joint made of metallic alloy, metallic screws, nails, etc.). Neither should it be used following an operation or radiation. The EXOmassage™ should only be carried out 4 weeks after the operation or radiation.

Secondly, an EXOMassage™ is unsuitable for small children, people with medication patches, or after organ transplants.

Thirdly, and most importantly, the EXOMassage™ must not be used by people with angina pectoris (chest tightness in coronary heart disease), acute bleeding, epilepsy, fever, hyperthyroidism, mental disorders, severe cardiac arrhythmias, severe viral infections or tuberculosis.
